“You are an amazing instructor! My mind is spinning with all I learned about color and value and edges. Thank you so much.” -Mendy
"I attended a three day workshop lead by Kim Eshelman and hosted by Maryland Pastel Society. Thank you for this time of growth and also making it fun time! Because of Kim, I greatly expanded my knowledge and believe I will create even stronger artwork in the future." - Nick
"Since attending a pastel workshop by Kim Eshelman Fine Art I have been focusing on color quite a bit. Her class was so packed with helpful information that I have yet to absorb it all. One big take away for me was that I need to spend more time exploring color theory, different color palettes and how colors interact in a painting. There is so much to learn. Several of us that attended have decided to take some time and create color studies using one reference photo. We are shooting for 50 in a year." - Karen
"Excellent workshop on color, value and saturation. Clear explanations and practical exercises. I have taken both in person and online pastel workshops and this one I rate at the top of my list for clarity and practical utility." - Sharon
“Kim Eshelman taught an outstanding workshop for the Pastel Society last week! She is a fantastic artist with the heart of a teacher, giving generously of her time and talent to meet each of us at our individual levels and to provide us with the skills and encouragement that would nudge us gently forward in the pursuit of our artistic goals. Thank you, Kim for creating such a fun and nurturing learning environment and for sharing your wealth of knowledge and painting experience with us.” – Lydia
"Kim did a first class job conducting a three day workshop for the Pastel Society of Mississippi. She is a gifted artist and teacher, well prepared, energetic and hit the ground running with a very comprehensive presentation. We focused on shapes and values and experimented with new painting techniques. Kim has the ability to meet artists at their level of experience, evaluate their art and offer thoughtful insight on how to move forward. It was a delightful and educational workshop and I hope to take another class from her in the future." - Sue
